President Amparo (Amy) Connors founded Allied Personnel Services, Inc. to actualize a personalized commitment to excellence. Allied Personnel prides itself in keeping “the agency” experience refined and rewarding as when one chooses a boutique over a department store, while remaining cost effective. Her concept embodying the vision of a tailored staffing service that is much more than an employment agency was realized February 1999 in Forest Hills. Recognizing a need, particularly in Queens, for customized, flexible, temporary and permanent staffing, driven by attention to details, our placement services focus on the ‘human’ aspects of employment ‘resources’. We treat employers as individuals and give each candidate, from Clerical to Executive, Picker/Packer to Office Manager, dignity in an often- difficult employment process. Work orders include administrative assistants, accountants, bookkeepers, finance and bilingual specialists. Our warm team ethic allowed us to expand beyond Forest Hills in 2003, to a Lake Success branch location.
