REQUIREMENTS:

A qualifying candidate must have office experience and be clear spoken. Will be required to assist the billing department with phones and possible reception relief. Will be responsible for scanning invoices and orders while helping with other clerical tasks such as faxing and filing. Some data entry and basic PC skills are required. Will be expected to have a good common sense to troubleshoot scans and ensure all is saved in proper format for ease of future searches. This candidate must be friendly and make a great first impression. They must be responsible and able to follow basic instructions as they will be working with chemicals.

Position : Human Resources Generalist

Job Description :

This company maintains a Prime Queens location, offers parking & is even located conveniently close to Public Transportation. Where benefits are concerned, OT is expected, particularly in the beginning of employment. The company also pays bonuses and provides excellent benefits.

With 14 locations, mostly in the North & East and close to 500 employees, they are currently adding three more sites under their wings in 2017. (However, the candidate is not expected to travel outside the work facility/NYC.)

Duties include: Supporting Human Resources Director with payroll processing, attendance reporting and other HR related duties.
        


DUTIES & REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum requirements include:

Job responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

Provide excellent customer service at all times
Record and track employee attendance
Establish and maintain personnel files for all active and terminated employees
Assist with benefits coordination– initial enrollment, open enrollment, changes, FMLA. STD, etc.
Submits employee data reports by assembling, preparing, and analyzing data
Perform payroll/benefits-related reconciliations
Conduct audits of various payroll, benefits or other HR programs
Update HRIS database records and process paperwork for new hires, terminations and other status changes
Assist with the performance review process
Assist with the recruitment and interview process
Assist HR director with various research projects and/or special projects

Qualifications:

Must have minimum 5 years’ experience in Human Resources
Payroll processing experience a MUST!
College Degree Preferred
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Package
Ability to interact successfully with both internal and external customers at all levels
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, work independently and be flexible with changing business needs
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Detail oriented and have great time management skills
Maintain sensitive data securely and assure confidentiality across channels

Job Description :

A growing residential affordable Property Management company looking for a Controller to manage staff and oversee the day-to-day accounting functions of the properties. The requirements & responsibilites are as follows:

REQUIREMENTS:

Primary Functions for Real Estate Controller:

+ Manage a staff of 25 direct reports in A/P, A/R, payroll and property accountant functions that makes up the centralized accounting department [which handles operations for 67 properties].
+ Oversee the daily accounting functions of the properties, including the accurate and timely processing of billing, resident and subsidy receipts, vendor payments, payroll and financial reporting, in addition to the bookkeeping for management, maintenance and security companies.
+ Establish, write, and maintain accounting systems policies and best practice controls that verify the integrity of all systems, processes and data.
+ Oversee and recommend the installation of processes and/or software to manage growth and increase efficiency in the department.
+ Interview new hires, train and develop the existing team and create department training manuals.
+ Participate in a wide variety of special ad hoc projects and compile a variety of special reports.
+ Prepare annual budgets for the management, maintenance and security companies as well regular monitoring of budgets to ensure their realization.
+ Manage & comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements & regulations and tax filings.

Qualifications:

+ Minimum 15 years accounting experience with at least 8 years in a senior level role.
MBA and/or CPA preferred.
+ Strong computer skills including advanced Excel proficiency and knowledge with Yardi is necessary. QuickBooks, and Word is preferred.
+ Demonstrated ability to successfully lead milestone driven projects; Experience in a high volume and fast paced operation.
+ Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills; Solid organizational and management skills.
